In general, ship frequency specifications are 60Hz and when calling at a port in a 50Hz area electricity cannot be supplied from land, which means the onboard diesel generator must continue running while docked. However, using Taiyo M-G set makes it possible to convert commercial power sources from 50Hz to 60Hz, which means the onboard engine can be stopped while anchored. With this, we offer a system that greatly contributes to the reduction of CO₂, which affects clean air (suppressing Nox, Sox, and PM) and global warming.
